Tongue-tie (Ankyloglossia) occurs when the connecting skin under a baby’s tongue is too short or extends too far towards the front of the tongue. Tongue-tie can result in problems such as breastfeeding, swallowing, speech, and upper and lower jaw development.
Our treatment will involve a quick surgical process on the connecting skin. There will be minimal discomfort and our nurses will guide you to soothing your child.

CIRCUMCISION & FRENULECTOMY

Dr Hossain Islam and Dr Mahmud Ali utilise a patented The Pollock Technique™ procedures that allow the procedure to be completed in under 15 minutes (not including pre and post-procedure preparation and recovery). Plus, since only local anaesthetic is needed, recovery time usually is fast, and you will be discharged within an hour. You will then be required to stay off work to rest for two weeks at home.
